EXPORT & LOGISTICS

Sandwich Panel Export & Logistics, Handled End to End

From the production line in Kocaeli to your site in Bucharest, Sofia, Tbilisi, Skopje or Pristina — loading, customs documents, freight and delivery, managed by one team.

For many manufacturers, export is a department. For Real Panel, sandwich panel export is the operating model. Our facilities in Dilovası (Kocaeli), Karabük and Yalova sit on the Marmara region’s main logistics corridor — within a day’s drive of the Bulgarian border and the region’s major ports. That geography, combined with an export desk that handles documentation and freight in-house,

is why customers in Romania, Bulgaria, Georgia, North Macedonia and Kosovo treat a Turkish plant as a local supplier.
This page explains exactly how a shipment works: how panels are loaded, which customs documents accompany them, which Incoterms we offer, and how long delivery takes to each of our core markets.

Order confirmation & production slot.

Once your order is confirmed, it is assigned a production slot and a target dispatch date.

Production & quality control.

Panels are manufactured on our EN 14509 compliant lines and checked against the order specification (thickness, RAL color, profile, lengths).

Export packaging & loading

Panels are stacked on wooden pallets with spacers, wrapped in PE film with a protective outer cover, and labeled with batch number, RAL code, thickness and project reference — then loaded by forklift in the sequence planned for your unloading order on site. Loading photos are shared before departure.

Customs documents

Our export desk prepares the commercial invoice, packing list, CMR consignment note, A.TR or EUR.1 certificate, and the CE Declaration of Performance — before the truck leaves the yard.

Border crossing & transit

We track the vehicle through the border and share status updates until delivery.

Delivery

The truck arrives at your site or warehouse on the agreed terms, with unloading and on-site storage guidance provided in advance.

Getting it there

Road, Sea & Load Optimization

Most sandwich panel export shipments to our five core markets travel by road. A standard 13.6 m curtain-side trailer accepts panel lengths up to 13.5 m — the full production range — and because panels are light, loads are volume-limited rather than weight-limited.

~800
Per trailer · 100 mm facade
~1,500
Per trailer · 50 mm panel
13.5m
Maximum panel length
Mixed loads

PUR, PIR, EPS and rockwool panels — plus flashings and accessories — combine in one truck, so a single delivery can cover the facade, roof and cold-room zones of the same project.

Container shipments

For destinations beyond truck range, panels up to approximately 11.8 m ship in 40' containers; loading, lashing and container documentation are handled by our team.

Figures are indicative — an exact load plan is prepared for every order.

Where exporters save you money

Customs Documents & Trade Agreements

Türkiye's trade agreements mean that, with the correct certificate, our panels enter every one of our five core markets at preferential — in most cases zero — customs duty.

A.TR · Romania & Bulgaria

EU Customs Union

Under the Türkiye–EU Customs Union, industrial goods accompanied by an A.TR movement certificate enter the EU free of customs duty. Import VAT applies under the destination country's normal rules.

EUR.1 · Georgia · N. Macedonia · Kosovo

Free Trade Agreements

Türkiye has FTAs with Georgia (2008), North Macedonia (2000) and Kosovo (2019). Panels of Turkish preferential origin, shipped with a EUR.1 certificate, qualify for preferential duty treatment.

On every truck

A complete document set leaves with each shipment

Our export desk prepares and checks the full set before the truck leaves the yard, so the panels clear the border without delay.

Where required, we also issue certificates of origin, test reports and project-specific technical files. See the full certificates & documentation.

Who does what

Incoterms We Work With

We quote and ship under the Incoterms® rules of the International Chamber of Commerce, agreed per order.

Most export customers choose CPT or DAP for a single, predictable delivered price. Ask for a DAP quote and compare it like-for-like with a local supplier — freight included.

EXWEx Works

You collect from our plant — full control over your own freight.

FCAFree Carrier

We load your nominated truck and complete export customs.

CPTCarriage Paid To

We organise and pay freight to the named destination.

DAPDelivered at Place

We deliver to your site; you handle only import clearance and unloading.

Route by route

Country-by-Country Delivery

Indicative road transit times are counted from loading at our Kocaeli facilities and depend on border-queue conditions. Your quotation always includes a current, route-specific estimate.

Each market has a defined corridor and the right movement certificate, so border processing is routine — not a surprise.

The five core markets

One route for each destination

From a single loading point in Kocaeli, each corridor is established and repeatable — the same crossings, the same paperwork, every time.

Romania A.TR · duty-free
7–10 days by road · to Bucharest

RouteKapıkule → Kapitan Andreevo (BG) → Ruse–Giurgiu Danube crossing → Bucharest and onward.

One of our most active markets — industrial halls, logistics parks and agricultural facilities; consolidated and partial loads can often be scheduled.

Bulgaria A.TR · duty-free
5–7 days by road

RouteDirect via the Kapıkule → Kapitan Andreevo crossing; Sofia and most destinations reached without transit countries.

Our nearest EU market: short transit makes Bulgaria ideal for phased deliveries that follow your installation schedule.

Georgia EUR.1
10–14 days by road · to Tbilisi

RouteBlack Sea coastal corridor via the Sarp border gate — no third-country transit between Türkiye and Georgia.

A single-border route keeps Georgian deliveries unusually predictable for the Caucasus region.

North Macedonia EUR.1
7–10 days by road · to Skopje

RouteVia Bulgaria (Sofia → Gyueshevo / Deve Bair) or alternatively through Greece, depending on load and season.

FTA treatment plus short Balkan routing keeps landed costs competitive against EU-based suppliers.

Kosovo EUR.1
8–12 days by road · to Pristina

RouteVia North Macedonia (Hani i Elezit) or the Serbia corridor (Merdare), selected per shipment.

We prepare Kosovo's documentation requirements in advance, so border processing does not surprise first-time importers.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Short answers to what export buyers ask most. For anything specific to your project, the export desk replies within one working day.

How long does sandwich panel delivery to Romania take?

Road transit is typically 7–10 days from loading. Total lead time is production time plus transit — your quotation states both, and we confirm the dispatch date when the order enters production.

Do I pay customs duty on Turkish sandwich panels in the EU?

No customs duty applies to industrial goods shipped with an A.TR certificate under the Türkiye–EU Customs Union. Import VAT applies under your country's standard rules — your accountant treats it like any other import.

Can different panel types travel in one truck?

Yes. PUR, PIR, EPS and rockwool panels, plus flashings and accessories, can be combined in a single mixed load — useful when one project uses different panels for facade, roof and cold rooms.

Which Incoterms do you offer?

EXW, FCA, CPT and DAP. Most export customers prefer CPT or DAP for a single delivered price; we recommend requesting a DAP quote for a like-for-like comparison with local suppliers.
